Executive Summary
Qt 6.11, a temporary ruler assistant, and more. Read on for a look at development news and the Krita-Artists forum's featured artwork from last month. Krita 5.3.4.1 Released The hotfix release Krita 5.3.4.1 contains a single regression fix, for a bug that caused assigning display profiles to not work. This is important for color management. ( change by Nicholas LaPointe) Developments in Krita Plus Qt 6.11.0 The Krita 6 builds now use version 6.11.0 of the Qt framework instead of 6.8.0.
Open Silicon & Gate-Level Hardware Inspection
From a silicon and hardware engineering viewpoint: - **Interface Neutrality:** Mitigates dependency on proprietary BSPs, empowering open toolchains to address hardware directly. - **Supply Chain Verification:** Schematics and open pinouts allow deterministic audits against silicon errata. - **Lifecycle Decoupling:** Decouples physical hardware utility from commercial vendor end-of-life obsolescence.
Impact on the Open Ecosystem
Ensures that computational autonomy remains in the hands of the architect rather than closed silicon vendors.
